Legendary British DJ and music producer Fatboy Slim is set to return Down Under next year for what he has promised will be summer’s biggest outdoor rave.

The 61-year-old 1990s dance music pioneer, real name Norman Cook, will tour the country in March stopping to play in Perth, Bowral, Barossa Valley, Geelong and Mount Cotton.

Kicking off the ultimate summer rave experience at Langley Park on March 14, Fatboy is set to bring the party vibes with club classics Right Here Right Now, Praise You, Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat and Rockafellar Skank.

Fatboy will then head to other pristine outdoor locations such as Centennial Vineyards in Bowral, NSW on March 15, Peter Lehmann Wines in Barossa Valley on March 21, Mt Duneed Estate in Geelong on March 22 and Sirromet Wines in Mount Cotton, QLD on March 23.

He will be joined by special guests at all shows including Sweden’s DJ Seinfeld and Aussies CC:DISCO and Jennifer Loveless.

Ahead of the tour, which is his first Aussie visit since last year, Fatboy said: “Like the crazy drunk uncle who turns up every Xmas I’m coming back to my Aussie fam once again. Expect the usual inappropriate behaviour and interpretational dancing.”

The father-of-one entered the UK acid house scene in the 90s with early success from hot singles Everybody Needs a 303 and Going Out of My Head.

With 10 MTV VMAs, two Brit Awards and a Grammy, numerous high-profile Ibiza residencies, a Beats 1 Radio Show, a record 20 consecutive years playing at Glastonbury, and even a show on The Great Wall of China, Fatboy Slim has a global reputation as one of the most popular and in demand DJs.

Frontier Member and Roundhouse Entertainment member presales begin 2pm October 15.

A limited release of early bird tickets on sale 10am Friday with general available to purchase starting at 10am October 18.
