Bye bye Eagle Boys, hello Pizza Hut
Geraldton’s Eagle Boys store will convert to Pizza Hut next month.
Australian Associated Press reported today that Pizza Hut Australia had purchased the Eagle Boys chain and begun converting stores with its own branding.
Geraldton Eagle Boys franchisee owner Robin McDonald told The Geraldton Guardian his Durlacher Street store would cease operating as Eagle Boys on December 11 and re-open as Pizza Hut on December 14.
“I’ve owned the store for nine years in Geraldton. It will be the same owner and the same service,” he said.
“I had a number of options, including going independent, but I decided that Pizza Hut is the best option.”
Mr McDonald said the change in branding would provide new product options and deals for customers.
