A cyclist was injured when he collided with a car on Chapman Road, Beresford, this morning.

Police said the 33-year-old man was trying to cross the road about 11.15am when he entered into the path of a Mazda hatch, driven by a 21-year-old Northampton woman.

Police said no charges would be laid.

The cyclist suffered grazed knees and elbows and a cut to his head.
