Police have charged four people after a number of weapon and drug seizures in Geraldton on Monday.

Police allege offenders forced entry to an address in Rangeway on Saturday at 2.30am and stole three firearms.

It is further alleged that offenders returned to the property between Saturday 1.10pm and Sunday 1.10pm and stole a metal detector.

Officers from the burglary suppression team executed a search warrant at an address in Rangeway on Monday, and allegedly seized quantities of cannabis, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Police also located a rifle scope and a quantity of metal firearm pellets.

Police executed another search warrant at an address in Utakarra, where it is alleged a quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was located.

As a result of the search police attended a property in Moonyoonooka and recovered two of the three stolen firearms.

Police are still inquiring as to the whereabouts of the third firearm.

As a result of the seizures, a 37-year-old man from Rangeway has been charged with possessing cannabis with intent to sell and supply. He will appear in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court on November 27.

A 23-year-old woman from Rangeway has been charged with possessing methamphetamine and will face court later this month.

A 36-year-old man from Utakarra has been charged with receiving an unlicensed person’s firearm and possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He will appear in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court on November 27.

A 25-year-old woman from Utakarra has been charged with possessing methamphetamine. She will face Geraldton Magistrate’s Court later this month.
