Geraldton to hold crime prevention forums

The City of Greater Geraldton and WA Police will hold two crime prevention forums at the Geraldton Yacht Club on Wednesday.

The first will be a general community forum from 2 to 3.30pm.

A business forum from 5.30 to 7.30pm will cover theft and armed robbery issues.

Mayor Ian Carpenter said the forums would provide the latest information on crime prevention techniques.

“Preventing crime is everyone’s business and by learning how to do some things differently or better at these forums we can all work together to make the City and region safer, ” he said.

People are asked to advise the City of their attendance by tomorrow.
