A girl was charged last week over a burglary in Rangeway house earlier this year.

Police allege the 14-year-old from Wandina helped others break into the Chellener Street property on April 5 to steal a gaming console.

She allegedly reached in through a window to unclip and slide it open.

Police allege she then waited outside and acted as lookout while the others went inside and took the console.

She will appear before Geraldton Children's Court on July 21, charged with burglary and stealing.

Police are still trying to locate others involved in the incident.
