Towns Football Club league coach Nick Duigan has met with former AFL-listed player Dayle Garlett.

Bulldogs president Brad Muir confirmed today the club was looking into the possibility of the troubled former Hawthorn and Swan Districts player lining up in Bulldogs colours next season.

“Dayle Garlett and his family recently made contact with the Towns Football Club and have since met League coach Nick Duigan,” Muir said.

“Although Nick is a psychologist these were not professional sessions.

“Towns acknowledge there are more important issues in Dayle’s life at the moment than football and these should be his focus.

“However, Towns will provide assistance, where possible, to help Dayle to turn his life around.”
