A Perth man wanted for questioning in relation to a string of serious crimes has been arrested by Geraldton police.

Police observed the man when they pulled into the Coles Express service station in Mahomets Flats last Friday.

The 34-year-old, from Carlisle, was allegedly in possession of a stolen Ford Ranger utility with no licence plates.

Police say the vehicle was reported stolen in Armadale on March 6.

Police enquiries revealed the man was wanted for questioning in regards to other incidents in Perth.

He was taken to Geraldton Police Station where he was charged and later appeared in the Geraldton Magistrate’s Court on Monday.

He was remanded in custody and is expected to appear before the Perth Magistrate's Court at a later date.

He faces three counts of breaching a restraining order, two counts of possessing an article with intent to cause fear and two counts of criminal damage or destruction of property.

Other charges include threatening to kill, aggravated burglary, stealing a motor vehicle and supplying false information to police.
