A motorist has been charged after police allegedly found her carrying methamphetamine and cannabis.

The 33-year-old Wonthella woman was stopped by police on Chapman Road, Bluff Point, on Saturday.

Police allege the woman was found to be carrying 1.4 grams of cannabis and 1.2 grams of methamphetamine after she tested positive for methamphetamine.

She was charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug and will appear at Geraldton Magistrate’s Court.

Police said further charges may be pending.
