Officers deployed police dog Bucky before making the arrests, in relation to an alleged burglary at the Aquarena swimming pool, Wonthella, about 9.25pm.

Police said four juveniles were located in Rangeway, allegedly carrying stolen property.

The four - from Rangeway, Wandina and Utakarra - were each charged with one count of aggravated burglary and commit in a place and one count of stealing.

They will appear before Geraldton Children’s Court at a later date.

Police later took to Twitter with the message: "Trick or treat with PD Bucky & GeroPol, no treat for them!"

In an unrelated incident, Geraldton police also charged a 29-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man in relation to alleged shop stealing in the CBD.

Police laid the charges after examining CCTV footage.
