Pedestrian hit by road train

Geraldton police are appealing for information over an incident in which a pedestrian was hit by a road train on North West Coastal Highway last week.

Police said the 28-year-old woman was clipped by the vehicle when she stumbled backwards on to the road near the intersection of First Street, Wonthella, between 12am and 1am on December 11.

She suffered lacerations to her leg.

Police are appealing for any witnesses and the driver of the road train to contact them to assist them with their inquiries.
