A 25-year-old Morawa man has handed himself in to police as a result of inquiries in relation to the seizure of methamphetamine from a Morawa home last week.

Morawa police executed a Misuse of Drugs Act search warrant on the home on Wednesday, February 3, about 3.30pm.

A quantity of cannabis plants, leaf and seeds, one gram of meth amphetamine, drug paraphernalia, cash and unlicensed ammunition were seized.

A 50-year-old Morawa man was charged last week with drug several offences, however police continued investigations in to the ownership of the methamphetamine.

The 25-year-old man subsequently handed himself into police this week and was charged with possession of methamphetamine.

He will appear before Geraldton Magistrate’s Court at a later date.
