Brittany Higgins says baby boy Frederick Leon in hospital undergoing surgery

Brittany Higgins has revealed her baby boy Frederick is undergoing surgery in hospital.
The former Liberal staffer delivered the troubling news in an Instagram post on Wednesday.
“Our sweet Freddie is in hospital having surgery,” she said.
“I’ve never been more grateful to live in Australia and have access to our world-class public healthcare system.
“Huge thank you to the doctors and nurses who are taking care of our little angel.”
The reason for surgery is not known.
The news comes just days after Higgins and husband David Sharaz showed off the first photos of their little one to celebrate Easter.

In a heart-melting Instagram post from Sunday, Mr Sharaz said the baby boy was the “best kind of Easter egg we’ve ever received”.
The post shows the pair cradling Frederick at Noosa’s Sunshine Beach in Queensland.
“Baby Frederick Leon Sharaz’s first Easter,” a caption to the post reads.
The little one entered the world last month, with the pair confirming the birth in a post from March 2.
“Last night we welcomed our little boy into the world,” the post reads.
“A huge thank you to the amazing midwives, nurses and doctors for their care and kindness.
“We’re both looking forward to getting to dote on the newest member of the family – forever grateful for all the love and support we’ve received.”
Ms Higgins and Mr Sharaz wed in July last year in a lavish ceremony at The Valley Estate in Currumbin on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
Last July, Ms Higgins announced her pregnancy saying she was “beyond excited” to become a mother.
“Can’t wait to meet you,” she said
“Beyond excited to welcome a new member to our little family.
“Your parents are already obsessed with you and you aren’t even here yet.”
