Geraldton PCYC employee charged with two counts of raping a teenage girl
An employee of the Geraldton Police and Community Youth Centre has been charged with raping a teenage girl.
Police say the 36-year-old man was charged as a result of their investigation into allegations of sexual assault.
It is alleged the sexual assaults happened this month but police say while the man was an employee of the PCYC they did not occur at the centre.
The accused man, from the Geraldton suburb of Rangeway, has been charged with two counts of aggravated sexual penetration without consent.
He will appear in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court for the first time on August 20.
If you are or have been a victim of sexual abuse, or if you have information about someone being abused, please contact police on 131 444.
