Police are on the hunt for a man who brandished a large kitchen knife and threatened staff as he robbed a kebab shop in broad daylight.

The terrifying incident happened at a kebab and pizza shop on Phoenix Road in Spearwood on May 22.

The man walked into the business about 11.15am, threatened employees with a large kitchen knife and demanded cash from the till.

Staff complied with his demand and the he then fled on foot.

Investigators believe the person pictured may be able to assist with inquiries.
