Two Perth brothers have been charged after police allegedly seized more than 200 grams of cannabis and a large amount of cash during a traffic stop at Jurien Bay.

Officers stopped the men, aged 18 and 31, about 10pm Wednesday on Bashford Street.

After searching their vehicle they allegedly found individually wrapped bags of cannabis hidden in a backback, along with $1600 cash lying on the floor.

They then allegedly found more than $5000 after searching one of the men.

Both men were arrested and taken to Jurien Bay Police Station, where they were granted bail.

They will face Moora Magistrate’s Court at a later date, charged with possessing a prohibited drug with intent to sell or supply.
