Christmas lunch at church enjoyed by all

Geraldton Guardian

Adults and children came together to enjoy the Lighthouse Church Taste & See Cafe’s Christmas lunch last month.

More than 160 people attended the annual event at the Lighthouse Uniting Church, brought together by Rosslyn Nagel and her team.

Pastor Jon Paschke said the lunch wouldn’t have come together without generous volunteers.

“This annual lunch was once again very well supported by generous Geraldton businesses and individuals and the church expressed their grateful thanks,” he said.

“So many people contributed — the cafe volunteer team, helpers, the decorators and performers — which made for an outstanding event.”

The day’s program consisted of carolling, musical items and a “nativity play with a difference”, emphasising the true meaning of Christmas.
