City Scenes Picture of the Week: Shaun Rose Photography captures wedding scene at HMAS Sydney Memorial

A newlywed couple sits at the pool of remembrance, part of one of Geraldton’s most popular icons, the HMAS Sydney II Memorial, as photographer Shaun Rose captures the magic. This night-time wedding snap is the City Scene chosen for picture of the week. For Rose, weddings are something he doesn’t regret falling into and over the past few years his business has blossomed. He manages to capture the brightness of dimly lit settings, such as in this photo. Clients are made to feel as relaxed as possible and Rose said it was always about bringing fun and quirkiness as well as professionalism to the images. “People really loved my night work,” he said.
