Ex-Geraldton real estate agent Simon Sebastian Reale to stand trial next year on drugs, weapons charges

A former Geraldton real estate agent will stand trial next year on multiple drugs and weapons charges. Simon Sebastian Reale was arrested on October 13, 2020 in a shed at Webberton after police raided the premises searching for stolen items. The 32-year-old was later charged with possessing methamphetamine and cannabis with the intent to sell, possession of a firearm or ammunition without a licence, possession of stolen or unlawfully obtained property and failing to obey a data access order. Mr Reale pleaded not guilty to all charges in June. Currently in custody, Mr Reale was on Friday represented by his lawyer Paul Holmes in the District Court, where the matter was listed for trial on October 10. The hearing is expected to last for four days. Mr Reale also has additional drugs and weapons charges listed with Geraldton Magistrates Court, where he will appear on Thursday.
