Finalists named for 2017-18 Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Excellence Awards

Finalists have been announced for the 2017-18 Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry Business Excellence Awards.

This year’s finalists, across various categories, are: 11th Battalion, Centrals, Choices Flooring, Dongara Marine, Fleur Porter, Funtavia, Illegal Tender Rum Co, Logic IT, Mid West Charity Begins at Home, Midwest Visual, Redspark Communications, Skeetas on Boardwalk, Southside Mechanical, Ultimate Water Sports and WBHO.

Finalists for the customer service awards will be announced later this week.

This year’s main awards include home-based business, Aboriginal engagement, micro business, small business, small-medium business, large business, business local achiever and not for profit.

Judges awards include community spirit, judge’s choice and the main award, business of the year.

A new addition to this year’s award categories is the tourism excellence awards.

The awards will be hosted at the Irwin Recreation Centre in Port Denison on Saturday, June 23.
