Geraldton Detectives seize 1kg of amphetamines, 1.2kg cannabis and liquid fantasy on Brand Highway, Dongara

Geraldton Detectives have seized almost a kilogram of amphetamines, liquid fantasy and 1.2kg of cannabis after a random vehicle stop south of Dongara on Tuesday. Detectives have charged a 35-year-old man with drug offences after they stopped a vehicle travelling along Brand Highway in Mt Adams on July 11. WA Police said they stopped a Ford Falcon about 5.20pm and allegedly found 1.2kg of cannabis, two glass bottles containing 982.41g of amphetamine and a significant quantity of liquid fantasy after searching the vehicle. The 35-year-old driver from Bulgarra in Karratha was charged with two counts of possession of prohibited drugs with intent to sell or supply. He is scheduled to appear in the Geraldton Magistrates Court on August 24.
