Geraldton drink driver had child on lap, allege police
Police have charged a Geraldton woman after she was allegedly caught driving four times over the legal blood alcohol limit and with a two-year-old child sitting on her lap.
The 27-year-old’s vehicle was impounded after she was stopped about 11.15pm yesterday on Archer Street, Utakarra, and allegedly blew 0.211 in a roadside test.
She has been charged with drink driving, unlicensed driving and failing to restrain a child under 16.
She will be summonsed to face Geraldton Magistrate’s Court.
