Geraldton horse trainer Eddie McGuire hospitalised

Well-known Geraldton horse trainer Eddie McGuire is in a critical condition following a trackwork incident on Saturday.

McGuire had a cardiac arrest after being thrown from a horse.

He was flown to Royal Perth Hospital and placed in an induced coma.

His family has thanked the people who assisted Mr McGuire and have sent messages of support.
