Geraldton’s motocross season hit its stride with the successful hosting of round six earlier this month, offering perfect riding conditions that thrilled both participants and spectators.

The day saw exhilarating racing action, with the track becoming increasingly challenging as the races progressed.

Lilli Patience emerged as the star of the day in the C grade category, clinching first place.

She said she was proud to hold her own on the day.

“Felt really good today. Track got messy, but I held myself strong and showed the boys what’s up,” Patience said.

In addition to the local excitement, Geraldton’s motocross community made an impressive showing at the recent WAMX State Titles in Northam.

Battling through a day that started with a wet track and ended in a downpour, riders showcased their resilience and skill, bringing home noteworthy results.
