Geraldton Netball round 2 wrap: reigning premiers Aztecs continue their winning start to season
Round two of the Geraldton netball season on Tuesday night saw the reigning premiers score a big win.
Aztecs continued their winning start to the season in a high-scoring contest against Kazuals.
They started the match strongly and lead by nine points at quarter-time.
Aztecs extended their lead in the second, third and fourth quarters to finish 73-50 victors.
In the other game of the night, Pumas made up for their opening round defeat with a 29-point win over Falcons.
They produced a dominant first-quarter performance, scoring 19 points while holding the Falcons to just three.
This set the tone for the match, with the Pumas running out 53-24 winners.
Pumas will face Lightning at 6pm next Tuesday in round three, followed by Falcons and Aztecs at 7.30pm.
Kazuals have a bye for round three.
