There’s one way of finding out if you’re a dead-eye with a bow and arrow — and that’s get to Greenough on Sunday.

That’s when the Greenough Archery Club is having an “open two hours” for newcomers to the sport.

And if the performances by two of their members in the recent State titles are anything to go by, attendees will learn plenty.

Jenny Fox won the 3D title while Bob Carey finished third in his section at the Western Plains Archery in Roleystone.

“We were pretty happy with the result,” Ms Fox said. “Now they are ready to pass on their knowledge.

“We are hoping people of all ages will come along and learn something about archery.

“Our members will have equipment for them to use. And we will have a sausage sizzle.”

The Greenough Archery Club is situated between the Rifle Club and Wildlife Park on Company Road.

The event will be held between 10am and noon.
