Geraldton police have charged a 19-year-old Rangeway man with several offences relating to a burglary in Bunbury.

Police said they were carrying out “pro-active” patrols when they approached the man on Hardman Road, Rangeway.

After running a name-check, officers identified him as a person of interest for the burglary, which happened in November last year.

Police also allegedly seized cannabis after searching the man.

He has been charged with burglary, stealing, stealing from a motor vehicle, and possessing cannabis.

He was released on bail and will appear in Geraldton Magistrates Court at a later date.
