Man on burglary, car theft charges

Cue police have charged a 25-year-old Geraldton man in relation to an alleged burglary and car theft that occurred in July.

Police will allege the man entered a Geraldton property through a window and stole the keys to a Mitsubishi, before making off with the vehicle.

He was arrested in Cue about 9am yesterday.

He was taken to Meekatharra Police Station where he was charged with burglary, stealing a motor vehicle and breach of bail.

He will face Carnarvon Magistrate’s Court today via video link.
