Moped rider injured in Beresford crash
A moped rider suffered minor head injuries in a crash at Beresford about 9.30pm on Saturday.
Police said the 18-year-old P-plater was turning onto Mark Street from Chapman Road when the moped and a white sedan collided.
Sergeant Michael Hall of Mid West Gascoyne Traffic said the man was taken to hospital bleeding from the head as a result of the crash, but was discharged later that night.
Sgt Hall said the female driver of the sedan, aged in her 70s, was unhurt.
Both motorists passed alcohol and drug tests.
Sgt Hall said inquiries were continuing.
