The Nationals have unveiled their home base in Geraldton, as the countdown to the State election continues to tick down.

To celebrate their official office opening, the Nationals invited the community to attend the office on Marine Terrace, and take part in a morning tea on Monday.

About 30 people showed up, including State Nationals leader Shane Love and Geraldton candidate Kirrilee Warr.

Ms Warr said her door was open to those in the community who wished to speak about the issues in the electorate.

“We just want to invite our supporters and anyone in off the street to have a conversation with us today about what matters to them and that’s why it’s important to have these events,” she said.

“We’ve had a great group of volunteers that have helped us to get the office to this point over the last few weeks and this part of it is about rewarding them as well.”

Residents will go to the polls for the State election on Saturday, March 8.
