Northampton will be looking for a coach this off season.

Playing coach Beau Walker, who took the Rams to a Great Northern Football League preliminary against Railways in his first season in charge, confirmed he would be stepping back from the role.

“I want to concentrate on playing a little bit more,” Walker said.

“I think I will go back to coaching at some stage in the future.”

Northampton lost 10.9 (69) to 13.6 (84) to Railways in the preliminary, but impressed with their progress during the season.
