Nominations for this year’s Geraldton Guardian Mid West Sports Awards will close on October 24.

Clubs, administrators and players are encouraged to put forward the people that make their club special and achieved outstanding results on or off the field.

Last year’s athlete of the year, Jed Hagan, is likely to feature near the top end of the AFL draft next month, with many previous winners also going on to the elite or even international level.

All nominations must be endorsed by the club or association committee member with all achievements from October 1st last year to the end of September this year being considered.

Early bird tickets are also now on sale, closing November 4, in what will be the premier sporting night of the year on Saturday, November 26.

It will also be an opportunity to recognise truly special talent for the region, with at least one addition to the hall of fame for the first time since 2016.

Tickets can be purchased and nominations made through the Mid West Sports Federation website.
