Brigades captain Mick Quick said “it’s been a good preseason we’ve had a couple of the boys come down with COVID towards the end of the preseason, but yeah, we’ve had good numbers on the track.”

“The boys seem really keen again, obviously we had a good season last year, won a flag but yeah let’s see if we can follow it up.”

Quick said they’ve retained their core group of players from last year’s win.

“We’ve got a couple of new young boys that will start playing senior footy throughout this year, pretty exciting. Couple of boys are down playing at East Fremantle Colts that will come back through the League side throughout the year as well.”

While Railways captain Ben Saunders said “we’re playing catch up, like most clubs are, but we’ve had a good preseason, a few new player down on the track.
