Riley races to win on new track

Beau Riley ran away with the A-1 feature race as the Geraldton City Speedway hosted the first major event at its new, improved track on Saturday night, with the State’s top drivers flying sideways around the bends at top speed.

Riley came in ahead of Rick and Rob Musarra and Ashley Baker in fourth.

“It’s phenomenally faster,” association president Peter Dowie said.

“The upgrades were worth it.”
