Santa Claus’ workshop better prepare themselves for the wish lists from St Mary’s & Geraldton Primary students

As Santa Claus and his reliable staff settle in to their workshop to craft the finest gifts for the boys and girls of the Mid West in six days time, he can be assured the children of Greater Geraldton know exactly what they want. A range of requests like bikes, pets and play stations are a timeless feature on a wishlist, but some niche and contemporary requests will keep the elves busy. The big guy told the Geraldton Guardian he will be trading in his sleigh for a 2011 Toyota Hilux as he ventures north, to reach the kids of Saint Mary’s Primary School in Northampton. “It’s been a dry season up there so I don’t think the sleigh will make it through,” he admitted. Year one and two students at St Mary’s have a definitive list of what they’re expecting to unwrap come Christmas morning. Meanwhile, the team at the North Pole are making sure Geraldton children are also taken care of, keeping a keen ear out for requests at Geraldton Primary School. Their list is diverse — ranging from pets, to toys, to books and even home decor, with reasons that sometimes defy all logic.
