The rumours are true, The Chain — Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Experience is coming to Gero’s Queens Park Theatre

They aren’t just rumours, dreams really do come true — Fleetwood Mac and The Eagles tribute band The Chain will hit the stage this May with enough energy to cause a landslide. So make sure you “go your own way” straight to Queens Park Theatre for a show you won’t want to miss. The Perth-based tribute band is set to return to Geraldton for the second time with their show The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Experience, an authentic immersion into the hits of The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac, on Saturday May 3. The band consists of six talented musicians who bring the songs everyone know and love to life. Missy Daniels is the lead vocalist, Rowan Stokes plays lead guitar, Dan McGrath has double duty with keys and vocals, Ian Mulholland (The Chain’s multi instrumentalist) switches between keys, guitars and vocals, Michael O’Brien can be found on bass and James Fielder carries the beat on drums. Daniels explained that tribute bands were the closest audiences could get to seeing older bands and artists adored by generations live when there might not be an opportunity to do so. “Tribute bands are really, really popular, not just in Perth, but globally,” she said. “When we do have the artists that we love, like Fleetwood Mac or like the Eagles, or like many of the artists that we’ve grown up with and loved, and there isn’t an opportunity to see them live yourself, this is really the next best thing.” Daniels said the band were “really looking forward to coming to Geraldton” and shared that playing in theatre venues like the QPT are an especially immersive experience. “Theatre shows are quite different compared to, say, a pub show, for example, because people are seated,” she said. “But what you find is everyone’s just seated and singing. They’ll have their hands up in the air and things, but you can see they’re just really immersed in the music, you know, fans that have loved these songs for years. “It was a pretty vocal and loud crowd last time, so we’re hoping for the same again.
