Three boys charged over Geraldton car dealership thefts
Three boys have been accused of breaking into a Geraldton car dealership on Monday night and stealing two vehicles.
Police allege the youths broke into Young Motors on North West Coastal Highway and stole the keys to a number of vehicles between 9pm and 2.30am.
They are then alleged to have used the keys to steal two cars, including a VW Amarok utility.
“One car was recovered abandoned a couple of days ago; the other was found burnt out in Spalding overnight,” a Geraldton police spokesman said this morning.
One of the accused boys, aged 14, is expected to appear before Geraldton Children’s Court today on burglary charges.
