Upgrade for river walk trail

New benches will be installed along the Greenough River Nature Walk Trail, as part of an upgrade by the City of Greater Geraldton.

A City spokeswoman said work would begin on the trail from Cape Burney to Devlin Pool Road today and was expected to take three weeks.

The benches would be placed at scenic sites along the trail.

She said works would also include installation of gazebo steps, gazebo maintenance and better access.

People are asked to avoid the trail between 9am and 3pm and exercise caution in the area.
