Winners crowned and stars shine at the JJ Clune Medal count with anticipation building for grand final

The stars of the Great Northern Football League gathered at the Wintersun Hotel on Tuesday for the highly anticipated JJ Clune Medal count. Building the excitement and anticipation for the grand final on the weekend, the league held the open board meeting with each club represented. The night was opened with a welcome to country, before honouring past legends of the league and paying respects to community stalwarts who had died in the last year. With Craig Walker on the mic running proceedings, guests listened in anticipation as GNFL president Carrissa Bellottie counted out the umpires’ votes from each match over the night.
