KBBA rivals battle to an epic tie in second division

CBC and Saints produced arguably the game of the round last week in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Basketball Association’s women’s second division, battling to a 46-46 tie.

Sarah Atkinson led Saints’ charge with a game-high 14 points, but it was offset in CBC’s camp by a combined 23 points from Millie James and Matilda Gouge.

Olympians beat Spartans 35-27 in the division’s other clash.

Matches in the women’s first division continue on Friday night at 6.15pm when Olympians play CBC.

On Friday in the top men’s grade, Olympians battle Saints at 7.30pm.
