Police allegedly found two unlicensed shotgun rounds during a routine car stop in Rangeway this week.

Officers from the Geraldton Local Policing Team stopped a Holden Captiva in Abelia Street about 10.30pm on Monday and allegedly uncovered the rounds during a search of the car.

A 33-year-old man has been charged with possessing unlicensed ammunition and will appear at before Geraldton Magistrate's Court at a later date.
