A 30-year-old Spalding man who allegedly blew more than twice the legal alcohol limit will face court later this month.

Police stopped the man driving a silver Holden Commodore on Flores Road, Wonthella for a random breath test at 11.35pm last night.

It is alleged he was showing signs of intoxication and was taken to Geraldton police station where he returned a positive breath analysis test of 0.115.

His licence was also under suspension.

He has been charged with exceeding 0.08 and no authority to drive and will appear before Geraldton Magistrate’s Court on March 26.
