Driver charged over alleged drug find

A 35-year-old Beachlands man will face court on a drug charge following a routine traffic stop.

Police stopped a Ford Falcon on Eliza Shaw Drive in White Peak last night about 8.50pm.

It will be alleged a search of the vehicle located 12 clip seal bags containing a white crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine.

The driver was charged with possession of a prohibited drug and will appear in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court at a later date.
