A motorist was allegedly unlicensed, drink driving and carrying drugs when stopped by police in Waggrakine on Monday.

About 11.50pm police stopped a Toyota Lexcen in Brisbane Street.

It will be alleged the driver had consumed alcohol and gave a breath analysis reading of 0.085.

Police searched the driver and allegedly found a small amount of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.

A 27-year-old Waggrakine man was charged with exceeding 0.08, no authority to drive, possessing a prohibited drug and drug paraphernalia.
