Geraldton’s multicultural community will have the chance to come together tomorrow and learn about a range of health support services that are available.

The inaugural One People: Celebrating Diversity'''' event will provide a place for people from all corners of the globe to gather, share experiences and meet with the people who can support them through life’s challenges.

The 360 Health + Community organisation will host the event, which support facilitator Jacquie Law said aimed to bring a diverse group of people together. “Migrating to a new country can be daunting, and having a network of supports can make all the difference in helping new members of the community feel welcome and comfortable in their new surrounds,” she said.

“We see so many people from all different backgrounds coming to us to chat, talk about their experiences and to find out about what’s available to them. We thought it would be a great way to get everyone together and show them what’s out there in a really fun, accessible way.”

The event starts at 6pm. Phone 9960 6800 for more information.
