A 38-year-old Jurien Bay man has been charged after allegedly attacking a cement mix truck with rocks and a wooden walking stick yesterday morning.

A driveway was being prepared to be poured in Cameron Street by a local concreting company when the neighbour approached the cement truck and threw rocks at the front windscreen causing it to smash at about 7.30am.

Police allege the man used his walking stick to beat the side of the truck and struck a worker on the arm.

The man has been charged with criminal damage and was bailed to appear in Jurien Bay Magistrate’s Court on September 18. No charges were laid in relation to the assault.
