Noah continues to improve

A three-year-old boy hit by a car in Geraldton last weekend continues to improve at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.

Noah Archer was crossing the road in Fifth Street, Wonthella, last Saturday when he was hit by a utility travelling at low speed.

The family have said they do not hold the driver responsible for the accident.

Noah underwent surgery this week for a skull fracture and was placed in an induced coma.

He was brought out of the coma on Wednesday.

His aunt, Kate Najar, posted on Noah's GoFundMe page that yesterday was an emotional day when he saw his brothers and sisters during a video call.

"Little Noah freshened up with his first shower today," she said.

"It's been an emotional day for Noah. For the first time he smiled and cried out loud when he saw his brothers and sisters via video call.

"Sad to see but so happy he's getting better."

Meanwhile, about $5000 has been raised through the GoFundMe page Ms Najar set up to raise funds to support Noah's parents, who travelled to Perth to be by their son’s bedside.

She said the funds would be used to “do up the house” before Noah and his parents returned home.

Ms Najar is currently looking after Noah’s five siblings.
