Police warn on parties
Police have renewed concerns about out-of-control gatherings after a series of incidents in Geraldton.
Acting Sergeant Mike Bickford said taking part in gatherings that resulted in police attendance could carry serious penalties.
“In the past three months Geraldton police have encountered groups of partygoers which have led to out-of-control gatherings,” he said.
“There is varying legislation that governs out-of-control gatherings, unlawful assemblies and riots.
“These put lives at risk.”
