Geraldton Grammar School students really got their billies boiling for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea recently by hosting a huge concert.

The event was co-ordinated by Year 8 students, as part of the school’s Service Learning Program.

The program aims to show students the value of being a part of, and helping in, community events.

The Year 8 students developed promotional flyers for the event, which were distributed throughout the school, and promoted the event on social media.

Students also helped with baking, setting up for the event, serving students, staff, parents and friends, and the clean-up.
