Teams swing into action

Staff reporterGeraldton Guardian

Midwest Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a charity golf day on Friday to raise funds for STAY, the organisation dedicated to providing short-term accommodation and services for youth in crisis.

Business of the Year GG Pumps and Electrical was the host and selected the charity to receive the funds raised.

Teams were asked to dress up in something starting with the letter G or P.

An auction was held. Items included a surfboard with No.1 surfers’ signatures, which sold for more than $1100.
